About MeI have always been interested in how a video game can immerse you in a new world, one where you can interact and explore. I love to see games progress in their graphics, usability, and gameplay and how little tricks can go a long way to producing something that looks, and feels great. Programming something, and seeing the impact that it makes on the screen, or in the game world, is the reason why making games has always given me joy. It is exciting to be a part of a team that creates something fun and engaging, and loves working on it.

EducationI am currently a Senior at DigiPen Institute of Technology in the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation program. This video game development degree has a focus on graphics and custom engine development. Along with our rigorous course sequence, we have a dedicated project class every year which involves us working as a team to develop a playable game. These games are usually in custom built engines that must be completed in two semesters (one year of classes, or 7 months). These yearlong projects challenge us to work together and deliver our product on time.

Work ExperienceAfter graduating I worked at Mojang Studios for almost 2 years on the character creator feature for both Minecraft and Minecraft Earth. On that team I designed the saving system, telemetry, and integration with our services to become a more secure and reliable feature. Before that I had an internship at Unity Technologies where I worked on their terrain front-end tools. I also worked for the The Bear Creek School as an IT assistant for 3 years doing regular IT stuff and assisting in the budget and design of a newly created building's classrooms.
